Rooms that
hold their weight

We design interiors meant to be lived in hard and still look considered in ten years - natural materials, honest proportions, nothing decorative for its own sake.

The Studio

Material first,
trend never

Studio Loam works in oak, lime plaster, wool, stone, and unlacquered brass - materials that record time rather than resist it. We start every project with samples on a table, not a mood board on a screen.

We take on a limited number of projects each year so the designer you meet is the one who sees it through to the final site visit.

Client Notes

What Our Clients Say

Two years in and the house still feels finished rather than decorated. That's the difference.

Sarah & Tom Fenwick

They talked us out of three expensive ideas and the result was better for it.

J. Marlowe

The joinery detailing alone was worth the engagement. Genuinely considered work.
